Technical Support
We pride ourselves on our high levels of
customer support. We aim to provide general technical support and advice at no
additional cost to you. If you do have a technical problem regarding an item you
have purchased from us please use the contact form. We aim
to reply to reply to questions within 48hrs.
Delivery Policy
The majority of orders are
dispatched 1st class post, Ensign van or Hermes carrier. Typically,
orders are dispatched the next working day after your order is received.
Standard and express delivery charges to United Kingdom mainland
are shown in the Carriage and shipping page. Every item in the Shop has its shipping weight shown next to the price for your information.
Please note: Salt deliveries have a restricted delivery area. To see if we can deliver salt in your area, please use the online postcode checker here.
Payment Options
We accept all major credit cards including
Visa, Mastercard and Bank Transfer.

Personal information and payment details are given over a secure SSL encrypted page for your procection. Our on-line Shop is powered by Romancart.com
Order Confirmation
An order confirmation is sent in real time
to the email address supplied at time of order. Please retain this until goods have been received.
Returns
By purchasing from Ensign - The Water Softener Centre you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The United Kingdom is governed by the Distance
Selling Regulations which states that you have the right to cancel an order with 7 working days of delivery. Please use the contact form if you would like to return an item.The only exception to this rule is where the product
has been opened and used.
Refunds
Refunds for valid claims will be made via the same
method of payment as used to place the order.
Cancellation
If you change your mind about something you have
purchased from us:

Please email us immediately using the contact form informing
us of your intention.

Send the product back explaining the reason for return
together with your name and address. Return the product to our address shown on
the the foot of every page.

Items must be returned within 10 days of receipt by you. You
will be required to pay postage and it is advised that you send the item by
recorded-delivery.

Please specify if you wish to a) Take a full credit against
another item that is sold on our website or b) Choose to have a refund, in which
case a fee of 5% or £
5, whichever is the greater will be applied to cover the cost
of processing and dispatching your order. Please return the product in a
condition that will allow it to be resold as new. Failure to return items in
such a condition for whatever reason will be processed at the discretion of
Ensign (UK) Ltd.
Returning faulty items
All of our products carry a 12 month
guarantee. On the rare occasions you may need to return a product that proves to
be faulty within a 12 month period from date of order please ensure you follow
these steps:

Please email us immediately using the contact form informing
us of your intention.

Send the product back explaining the reason for return, if you
want the item repaired or a refund issued, your name and address and a contact telephone number. Send the product to our address shown on
the the foot of every page.

For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded
delivery service. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of
returning the goods to us.

Note a restocking fee of up to 25% is charged on items, which
are returned to us but prove to have no fault. We would advise you of this and
you can opt for the goods to be returned to you.
Guarantee of Quality
All products sold are backed by a one
year guarantee against faulty parts and faulty workmanship. The exception to
this is the Ensign water softeners which have a comprehensive
five year guarantee.
Retention of Title
This remains with Ensign until the goods are
paid for in full.
Application of Value Added Tax (VAT)
VAT at the prevailing
rate is included in the prices shown. Our registration number is GB491410265.
Stock Levels
As far as reasonably possible, all products
featured on this site are in stock and available at the time of ordering.
Trading Name
Ensign - The Water Softener Centre is a trading style of Ensign (UK) Ltd.
Data Protection
Information you provide us remains confidential. We will not sell or give your personal information to third parties.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information
that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act
1998. We do not engage in junk mail, email or telephone marketing campaigns.
Unforeseen Circumstances
While every effort will be made to
meet shoppers demands, cancellations or otherwise, variations may be necessary as a result
of Act of God, War, Strike, Flood or other causes beyond our control.
Complaints
If you have a compliant, please contact us
immediately by phone or email. Use the contact form. All complaints will be
acknowledged and dealt with fairly, effectively and confidentially.
Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and
construed in accordance with English Law and you hereby agree to be subject to
the jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
